Welcome to my home page! The inspiration to provide this page has come about because I wanted to have a place to share information about breast cancer, and in particular, about the 'Swallows' mailing list and web forum for the discussion of complementary therapies . But there are other things too..... | |||
SailingTayana Owners Group |
In 1995, Graham and I crossed the Atlantic in
our Tayana 37 "Oasis", designed by Robert Perry . In 1998 we sailed to
Puerto del la Duquesa marina in Andalucia,
Spain, which became the start point for both local cruises in the
Med and for our extended round the world cruise. As of August 2000, we moved onboard Oasis and started our voyage of discovery and circumnavigation. We crossed the Atlantic later that year and now Oasis is in the Caribbean. You can read about our adventures on the Oasis pages |

Scuba DivingA passion that Graham and I share, when we get the opportunity. Our most recent expedition was to St Lucia, where we dived with Rosemond's Trench Divers, based in Marigot Bay. Oh, I loved Anse Chastenet and the area near the Pitons!Best of all our experiences have been the Red Sea and the Cayman Islands.Such a fantastic variety of sea life and dive sites. There are many other places in the world that I would love to visit and dive, but I would go back to either of those time and again. I'm a Sports Diver with BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club), and Graham is an Advanced Diver |

Personal DevelopmentIn 1997, I followed the "Personal Power" Anthony Robbins Home Study Course . I found that there were some very helpful techniques for focussing on life goals, and for ovecoming negative thought patterns. From my last day at work, I will be attending Tony's 'Unleash the Power Within' workshop at Wembley, June 30 - Jul 2nd., 2000. This includes a firewalk! Should be an exciting way to transition to my new lifestyle..... |
For now, here is a place to cast a hexagram online |

Health MattersIn 1996, I learned that I had breast cancer. I found the internet to be a terrific resource for information, research and support. As a result of this, I founded a mailing list for those interested in using complementary therapies. You can find more information about this on the Swallows page, as well as a host of useful links to pages about alternative and holistic therapies, sources of information and support, personal pages and more. You can also read my own history here |
